Kick-Off Meeting
The kick-off meeting of the Horizon Europe-funded MSCA-SE COVER (Combinatorial Optimization for Versatile Applications to Emerging uRban Problems) project was successfully held on January 8, 2025. The meeting brought together project partners to introduce the consortium, outline work packages, and plan the next steps.
First Workshop
The first workshop of the COVER project was held at GTU from April 7 to 11, 2025. On April 7–8, the sessions open to external participants took place at the GTU Congress Center, where experts from academia, industry, and local governments gathered to explore solutions to urban problems using combinatorial optimization methods.
Second Workshop
The second workshop of the COVER project was held in Maribor, Slovenia, on 8–12 September 2025, hosted by the University of Maribor. During the workshop, consortium members presented combinatorial optimization-based mathematical models and solution approaches for urban problems, and planned the roadmap for the next stages of the project.
